As a small rural, heritage charity we rely on the support of volunteers to help deliver our core operations. We provide a variety of opportunities for people to get involved, such as gardening, stewarding, mechanical upkeep and building & grounds maintenance. Currently, we’re particularly looking for mechanical engineers to help keep up with the maintenance of our waterwheels and milling machinery during our busy visitor season. We also require support to maintain our hydro- electric wheel which feeds into the national grid.
Approx time commitment - 1 day per fortnight.
