We are seeking two enthusiastic people to join our board of directors on a voluntary basis. We are wanting to open a CIC (or Community Interest Company) to offer a mobile education bus (run on chip fat from local chippies) to educate schools, communities and youth groups on the importance of reducing carbon footprint through the foods they eat and the packaging they recycle.
Enthusiasm for healthy food and sustainability are ideal. Bonus points if you have experience setting up a CIC, governance or financial experience (but these are not required).
We would anticipate that the commitment for a director is approx 3 hours per month (on average) with meetings held outside of work hours.
