The GoodLives project is led by Home to Work, a charity based in Cleator Moor. The garden site is situated at Westlakes Science Park and has been made available by BEC, owners of the Science Park. The target audience for GoodLives is learners from disadvantaged backgrounds or communities or for those individuals that may have disengaged from society. The project aims to offer life and employment skills through gardening, horticulture, training, education, with additional mental health and general wellbeing benefits. Learner courses are bespoke to the individual depending on needs but GoodLives aims to support 80-100 learners a year for an average period of 5 months.
Drainage needed so we can erect polytunnels on site. Mini digger and driver needed to dig trench to allow plumber to connect water. Plumber assigned, just the trench that needs dug.
