Allerdale Disability Association (ADA) needs your help to compile a construction schedule

We aim to give disabled people a voice and address inequalities felt by people with disabilities. The barriers to voice and overcome inequality in West Cumbria for disabled people are multi-faceted. Our services overcome these inequalities by providing support without facing barriers whether physical or attitudinal, our services mean they are not only better off financially but the detrimental effects of money worries and loneliness are reduced and they have improved well-being and quality of life. We cover Allerdale and Copeland.

We are based in Moorclose Community Centre and hope to move within the centre to a bigger space to better accommodate our services. This community space needs improvements to meet our needs. We need the help of a construction specialist to help us pull together a simple schedule or scope with guidance on what we should do in what order.

We need help to list the jobs we need done and to priorities them and which trades would be needed to carry them out. Moving forward this work would not only benefit the disabled community but the wider community as Moorclose Community Centre is its self a charitable organisation.
