Donated laptop finds a new home

Susan’s Farm is a working care farm two miles from Carlisle. They provide opportunities for learning and practical work experience as well as alternative educational provision for the whole community.

The Windows 10 Laptop was gifted by an  employee at Morgan Sindall Infrastructure to benefit a local good cause, via Cumbria Exchange. Susan’s Farm  took up the offer of the laptop and their new office administrator is already putting it to good use coordinating the farm’s outreach activities.

Susan Aglionby, Partnerships Manager for the Charity said; “It was wonderful to receive the laptop through Cumbria Exchange. We are so grateful for the efforts of those at Morgan Sindall in giving the equipment and getting it to us here at the farm. It will be invaluable to our work especially in assisting our new administrator to coordinate all our opportunities for learning.”

Gillian Johnston, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure’s Community Engagement Advisor said: “ We are delighted to have been able to facilitate the gifting of this laptop, through a generous Morgan Sindall Infrastructure employee donation, it’s great to hear the laptop is assisting the educational outreach at Susan’s Farm.”
